The events were intended to help the Committee understand people's experiences in relation to health inequalities, and were centred on the following themes:

The Committee worked with Voluntary Health Scotland to establish and facilitate these engagement events, which enabled Committee members to engage with people with lived experience, as well as 48 organisations, the majority of which were from the third sector.

The Scottish Government supported Emma Harper’s member’s bill when it was introduced, to provide Police Scotland and the courts with greater powers to deal with those who allow their dogs to worry, attack or kill livestock in Scotland’s countryside.
