Young people should have a high standard of on-going support, no matter where they live. The standard should be the same whether they live with foster carers, in a residential unit or in a hostel.
It is also important to engage the youngsters in a form of learning that will, perhaps, be more attractive to them at that stage in their lives. We must keep them hanging in there so that when they are about 25 years old they will realise that they want to take their lives more seriously.
