This matter needs to be approached with some caution with the objective of getting the best possible deal for Scotland. I favour option 3:"launching a new, focused call for views".However, I hope that as well as calling for views, whether by written evidence, oral evidence or both, we will have time to come to some firm conclusions on the matter.

His idea is without question a good one, because it would leave the UK and Scotland to get on with developing their infrastructures, in line with structural fund requirements and in the ways that would be best suited to their needs. I would have thought everyone on the committee would approve of devolution's working in favour of people here in Scotland.

I am worried about many sports other than boxing, but we are here to talk about boxing, which has the best officials of any amateur sport. It has excellent medical back-up, but that can be improved.Members must bear in mind the theoretical possibility and the practical reality of lack of money.
