(S6O-04488) The Scottish budget for 2025-26 focuses on laying the foundations for Scotland’s long-term success and for directly addressing the priorities of the people of Scotland, including those who live in Ms Adamson’s constituency.
Amendments were agreed by the Parliament at stage 3 that require the Scottish ministers to lay regulations to give effect to disqualification of members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, as well as providing a discretionary power to make regulations to give effect to disqualification of local authority councillors.

CMAL has said repeatedly, “We are not paying a penny more than £97 million” and the Government has taken the contract off CMAL, so it has not been held to account. That is a Government organisation that is avoiding being held to account.
