Mr Cleverly responded this week, committing to a four-nations meeting before the TCA partnership council next meets. However, no date has been fixed and in general there has been a frustrating lack of ministerial-level engagement in this space.
I will add one thing to that. The World Bank estimates that metal production will need to increase by 1,000 times if we are to meet the 2°C reduction in temperature target.

. £397,735 was invested during 2024/25 into delivering the Wildfire Strategy as part of a £1.725 million investment which commenced in 2022/23. £35,000 has also been invested in PPE for Flood First Responder Stations and an additional £30,000 was spent on the procurement of 200 life jackets to support water rescue operations.
