I thank the committee for allowing me to speak.I know that PE1105 has been with the committee since 2007, and I fully appreciate that members may want to get it off the books.Things have moved forward in a positive way since the petition was lodged, but the main issues that it raises are on-going.

We will continue to consider that point, possibly using different communication channels to raise awareness, among young people in particular, of the importance of coming forward at an early stage to get any concerns checked out.
