The Scottish Government’s Chief Scientist Office provided a total of £83,495 to MND Scotland towards co-funding a three-year Clinical Academic Fellowship undertaken between 2019-20 and 2021-22 at the University of Edinburgh. The following sums were paid: Amount Date Purpose £26,784 October 2021 Clinical Academic Fellowship - Year 1 2019-2020 £28,760 October 2021 Clinical Academic Fellowship - Year 2 2020-2021 £27,950 October 2023 Clinical Academic Fellowship – Year 3 2021-22 The Clinical Academic Fellowship comprised a PhD research project to better understand the pathogenesis of disease progression in sporadic MND.
