As I said, 10 per cent of all the sex workers with whom we had contact chose to access that service and 77 of those sex workers are no longer in contact with SCOT-PEP.
We went through our personal contacts and main conduit organisations, which allowed us to contact people whom we had not contacted before, because some disabled trainers are affiliated to large organisations.
The general impression that we get is that single witness evidence does not get far when it reaches procurators fiscal, who think that they need much more than that. The police contacts with whom I have spoken gave the impression that the provision is rarely used.
