Some local authorities need to start learning lessons from previous financial decisions. Their exposure to the Icelandic banks is the latest example, but the Bank of Credit and Commerce International scandal in 1989 also shows that the public pound needs to be protected.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it served foie gras at official engagements in 2010 and, if so, (a) at what engagements and (b) on what dates. The Scottish Government has not served foie gras at any of its official engagements in 2010.
