Both the 2020 Act and 2024 Act will be used to introduce secondary legislation during the phased transition, with the approach generally being the 2020 Act for legacy support and the 2024 Act for new support, with the Route Map setting out the detail and anticipated timeframes and the Rural Support Plan setting out the strategic approach over the five-year period of 2026-2030.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services annexe A Scottish Government

The first new services were established in December 2020. Local authorities are required to report on a six monthly basis on progress, roll out and take up of the services.
