SLE highlighted that landowners may have entered into other contracts in expectation of a 2 or 3 month resumption period. CAAV/SAAVA raised a further practical point about the timings in the process highlighting that the 8 weeks deadline to produce a valuer’s report has been problematic in relinquishment cases so is likely to also be here.Written submission of CAAV/SAAVA They suggest 10 weeks is more appropriate, with power given to vary this by regulations.
