In the slick vox pop film that we were shown, the chap from Scottish Natural Heritage was the only person who voiced any opinion other than COAST's.I think that the idea is interesting, but there is a marine bill coming up that will take into account much larger areas, with marine national parks coming along.

Would it be possible to get some reading material on the technical background to the proposed directive? Although we have taken into account parts of what the directive would cover, we do not have any details about recycling of things such as semiconductors, which are generally made out of highly toxic materials, including germanium and arsenic.
