To ask the Scottish Executive how many senior managers have taken early retirement or have had their contracts terminated in each Health Board area in each financial year from 1993-94 to date. This information is not held centrally.
So it is possible for you to withdraw the draft regulations and to bring them back before the summer recess. It is possible for us to withdraw the draft regulations and to lay them again before the summer recess.
I expect that officials from the Executive and from COSLA will meet again very soon, but I cannot tell the committee whether that will happen before the Christmas recess. We will seek to do something as quickly as we can and to provide the committee with the information that it seeks.
