Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, submission rates are similar to last year and online applications have increased by 2% with over 18,000 (92%) applications completed online.

To ask the Scottish Government what information it has regarding the impact of online alcohol sales on overall (a) availability and (b) consumption in Scotland at a (i) national and (ii) local level; what data it uses to inform this and how it will ensure that sufficient data is gathered.
One participant said: “New Ways for Families benefits from being online, therefore giving a degree of flexibility to Co-Parents to complete their online modules when it best suits their lifestyles.”
I have already seen that, with “The Nutcracker” being available to see again and Celtic Connections back online, for example. They are advertising themselves.
The Scottish Government is taking those steps to build that competence and capability across the public sector. In addition, the online equality and human rights mainstreaming strategy toolkit will be published later this year.
