First, I thank the committee for changing the date of this meeting. Had the meeting been held on its original date, I would not have been able to come—and I wanted to come.
They need help during in-service days and school holidays. Given the demands on the many women who work in retail, families may need help into the evening, too.

We heard from witnesses who said that some landowners or developers are sitting on land and waiting for prices to rise—it is called land banking—or are reluctant to build affordable homes, for whatever reason.
Under normal circumstances, when companies deal with the more unusual countries, they can ask for letters of credit that they can take to the banks, and have the banks fund them in some way.
