From speaking to the Syrian people and some people who have had direct contact with Syrian refugees in Lebanon, I know that the problem is compounded by the fact that many of those who are fleeing are unwilling to register as refugees, so they are not counted as refugees.

I wrote to ministers in July last year after I had been contacted by relatives of residents at Woodgrove, who were concerned about plans to downgrade the home from provider of specialist care to provider of general care.
