I was interested to note that the City of Edinburgh Council submitted a detailed response and is certainly not in favour of free variation of the title deeds.It has been suggested to me that it might be useful to hear from the Society of Local Authority Lawyers and Administrators in Scotland, which has an all-encompassing technical knowledge of the matter, but is not accountable to any individual local authority.
