Under the Scottish Rural Development Programme 2014-20, £6 million was allocated to the Young Farmer Start-up Grant Scheme. To date £5.23 million has been committed to fund 90 successful applications.
We will look at what more we can do for it. I understand that the Bank of England has just announced the first rise in interest rates since, I think, July 2007—a 0.25 per cent increase—which I know will be of concern to families across the country.
Those who are serving short-term sentences will have their release dates recalculated and be released subject to the transitional provisions on that new date.
