A considerable number of people with a Gaelic background live in Glasgow. The city was a traditional area of employment for people from the Highlands and Islands in past years.
In doing so, we can really improve the quality of people's lives and provide solutions for people and communities who too often feel that that they have been abandoned.

There could be single people who are pillars of the community, two homosexuals who live together and a manse—or whatever the correct term is—where a couple of Catholic priests live.
When it comes to Northern Ireland's public finances, people simply accept that there is a huge deficit and get on with their lives because there are more interesting constitutional issues to fight about.
I believe fundamentally that, whether in the chamber or in other aspects of our work or lives, the first thing we should always address is whether we are making the best use of our time.
