To ask the Scottish Executive how it intends to encourage the Scottish diaspora in Australia to return to Scotland to live and to help reverse the population decline.
To ask the Scottish Executive how much was provided to local authorities in (a) 2000-01 and (b) 2001-02 and will be provided in 2002-03 for the provision of equipment and adaptations to promote independent living at home. The procedure should be that the minister launches the document, gets his stuff on the television—which is what the TV companies want—and then a day or two later, when we have read the document, we can have an intelligent debate about it.
