It would be enormously helpful to have that detailed knowledge.The second point is that South Lanarkshire Council's response acknowledges that there are problems with housing and accommodation, particularly for those individuals with learning disabilities who are getting older and currently living with family as carers. That is the crux of the presentation that the petitioners made to us, and given that we have now identified it as a problem, we should ask the Executive whether there is anything that it can do to resolve matters.Thirdly, as 2004-07 partnership in practice agreements will land on Executive desks soon—if they are not there already—it might be useful to pick up the Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability's point that we should ask about who is awaiting housing and support packages, who has unmet needs in that regard and who has a single shared assessment but is still living with their family.
