Right to Addiction Recovery (Scotland) Bill - Standards and regulation of services

In relation to reporting, the Scottish Recovery Consortium, and others, raised concerns that "it is not clear how the reporting arrangements interact with other requirements, such as those laid out in the MAT standards, nor is there an indication of action to be taken if the assessment is that a response to the requirements of the Act is inadequate". Regarding the distribution of earnings, Scotland's gender pay gap was 12.0% in 2022 (up from 11.1% in 2021 but below the UK-wide figure of 14.9%) and the disability pay gap was 16.2% in 2019 (the latest year for which reliable data is available, due to a coding error by the ONS). This gap has risen from 12.8% in 2014.
