In numerous successful campaigns of late, we have worked in partnership with national banking institutions and other agencies on identifying issues, in particular financial abuse.
That bill proposed that“the Secretary of State ... require banks, corporations and trusts to provide information on their status, income arising and tax payments made in each jurisdiction”.That would have gone some way towards providing the transparency and information to which Neil Findlay referred.

Although it is possible for NHS National Services Scotland to provide information about practices that have an ‘end date’, they would include mergers, takeovers and splits, so the figures would not reflect real closures.
