(S4O-02973) The Scottish Government published a discussion paper on the 1974 act on 27 August 2013. Although the initial closing date for comments was 19 November, the date was extended to the end of January 2014 to allow late submissions to be received.
The committee heard from the British Hospitality Association, which said that hospitality businesses are “extremely concerned about their ability to stay open, to meet their obligations to the banks and to continue to employ people.”
Dumfries and Galloway Council, which has agreed to be actively involved in any proposals that are being developed for a Galloway national park, has endorsed the approach that has been taken to date by the community-based group leading the proposals.

I am keen to know what she thinks the impact will be of the delay in revaluation for NDR until 2023, of course with the tone date set of 2022, which is a year later than that in England and Wales.
