Management of Offenders (Scotland) Bill - Membership and appointment

The Prisoners and Criminal Proceedings (Scotland) Act 1993 currently provides that overall membership of the Parole Board must include a: High Court judge psychiatrist person with knowledge and experience of the supervision or aftercare of discharged prisoners person who has studied the causes of delinquency or the treatment of offenders The Bill seeks to remove the requirement for the Parole Board to include a High Court judge and a psychiatrist.
