Retention of data
Information about complaints is stored electronically for three years from the date of our last response, after which it is deleted from our systems.
The Regulations seek to extend the operation of rural development support schemes such as the Scottish Rural Development Programme (SRDP) and the Less Favoured Area Support Scheme (LFASS) beyond their current expiry date of 31 December 2024. A new end date of 31 December 2030 has been proposed in the Regulations.
Of particular importance is paragraph (8) which explains that no regulations may be made after 31 December 2020 “but this does not affect the continuation in force of regulations made before that date, including the exercise after that date of any power conferred by regulations made before that date”.
