The Committee therefore calls on the UK Government to commit itself in the framework agreement it concludes with EU to its continued right of participation in Erasmus+ as a programme country beyond 2020.” The Committee also agreed that if “the UK Government is not willing or able to negotiate the UK’s continued participation in Erasmus+ as a programme country, the Committee urges the Scottish Government to explore whether it would be possible to use existing institutional structures, …. to support Scotland’s continued participation as a programme country beyond 2020.”
