What guidance would the Scottish Government offer to local authorities to ensure that consultations get the responses that best reflect communities’ needs? I agree that the diversity of the needs of Scotland’s communities is an important aspect to consider when carrying out consultations, which is why councils are best placed to determine the local needs in each consultation.
