Background In January 2023, the Committee agreed to carry out one-off evidence sessions with all 14 geographical NHS boards and the following special NHS boards: Scottish Ambulance Service NHS24 the Golden Jubilee Hospital the State Hospital The focus of these evidence sessions was NHS board performance, financial sustainability and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. We also looked at key issues related to workplace culture and workforce.
