To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-23349 by Malcolm Chisholm on 19 March 2002, how many patients currently receive continuous positive airway pressure therapy for sleep apnoea.

To ask the Scottish Executive what changes in the provision of welfare officers are planned in the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and over what timescale any such changes are to be made. From 11 March 2002 the department has two full-time welfare officers.
