three-yearly revaluations (costs of £340,000 over six years, mainly in the years prior to revaluation)

It is estimated that, cumulatively, those changes will drive up to an additional 100,000 children into poverty by 2020, and the changes as a whole are driving the explosion in demand for food banks. It is a scandal that in a country as rich as Scotland so many people are reliant on food banks but, as the member will be aware, we as a Government are seeking to help with the provision of food banks as much as possible.
