Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) (Scotland) Bill: Stage 1 - Powers which may be exercised subject to the made affirmative procedure
The Bill proposes that four of these powers will be permanently available to Scottish Ministers whereas the fifth power, which makes provision for the early release of prisoners, is time limited until 30 November 2023 with the option to extend this date by regulations for a further year at a time until 30 November 2025.
