To ask the Scottish Executive how many learning providers under the individual learning account scheme have gone out of business since the scheme was suspended.

To an extent, all that we can do is lay down parameters.The latter part of the motion causes the Scottish National Party no concern and we fully support it.
Furthermore, there are other ways of calling ministers to account: scrutiny of particular items of delegated legislation is not the only way to call the Executive to account for what it is doing.
