I was interested in the item about banking sector reform and the proposals from Arlene McCarthy in a draft non-legally binding report on reforms to the EU banking sector.
It is not about age; it is about employers taking on staff to work on bankholidays, Sundays or holiday periods so that they do not need to pay employees time and a half for working then.
However, as Audit Scotland said in its 2022 report on alcohol and drug services, “it is still difficult to track spending and how it is being distributed and monitored.”
