The committee will recall that we first considered the issue at our meeting on 31 March, in response to a letter from Margo MacDonald about a constituent of hers who had a dispute about legal fees and who had complained about the auditor of court.

I was pleased to read in the Official Report of the Justice and Home Affairs Committee of 29 March that the Deputy Minister for Justice said that the Law Commission would consider some of the outstanding issues relating to the Blairgowrie leases, which is an important issue for the community that I represent.
As I understand it, discussions are taking place with the trade unions with a view to possibly going dark from October this year until March next year, because there will be no money left in the budget after the Ring cycle is finished.
