On Sunday, the Chhokar family were trying to commemorate their son's life when they were abused by a racist oaf who appears to have had some connection with those alleged to have been the murderers of their son, Surjit.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether the Minister for Justice will meet parents whose son died, having been wrongly prescribed methadone, to discuss their concerns about the operation of fatal accident inquiries and the legal basis of methadone prescribing guidelines.
Does the Minister for Environment and Rural Development believe that the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish Executive should be consulted in any way by the United Kingdom Government on whether the son of Trident should be based on the Clyde?
Taking into consideration the circumstances of Margaret and Jim Watson, who so tragically lost their son Alan and daughter Diane, does he agree that the present framework for victims of crime is inadequate, and will he consult such families to ensure a framework that will deliver for victims?
