Suicide and Self-Harm in Scotland
Males in the 35-44 and 45-54 age categories now have the highest suicide rates. Those living in Scotland's most deprived areas also have a higher suicide rate compared to those in the least deprived areas.

How is Additional Support for Learning working in practice?
Overall, we know that a child is more likely to be identified as having additional support needs if they live in an area of deprivation, but the local authority variation does not seem to be very obviously related to that.
