These types of first treatments generally begin immediately after the decision to treat has been made, therefore the date of decision to treat and date of first treatment can be the same day.

I must respond to the point that James Kelly made about independence and the funding of the banks. When a bank becomes too big to fail, we must ask, "Too big to fail for whom?"
The Memorandum of Understanding advises the National GMS Oversight Group will review progress with implementation of the GP Contract in March 2022. The Committee would welcome details of any findings of this review that may be relevant to this inquiry.
We did that because the Government had said previously that that was what it did and why it did not bank the overperformance from the first carbon budget to the second.
Last Friday, we were very pleased that the first payments were made to that community, with more than £327 million arriving in the bank accounts of 13,450 farmers and crofters, and further payments will be made in the coming weeks.
