We want to get the big gains from HEPMA and to work as much as possible on a once-for-Scotland basis—even if that is not the right fit; it is about learning from areas that have used the system.
I understand that the Welfare of Dogs (Scotland) Bill that has been introduced by Christine Grahame aims to highlight and raise awareness of responsible dog ownership—which, I think, we can all support.
To ask the Scottish Government what timeline has been set for the next review of the Charter of Patient Rights and Responsibilities. As required under the Patient Rights (Scotland) Act 2011, the Charter must be reviewed at least once every 5 years.
They believe the FM is “an accurate representation of future costs to OSCR related to the implementation and operation of the measures currently contained in the Bill”. As the member knows, the 2024-25 national health service recovery, health and social care budget contains £2 billion investment for social care and integration.
