Prisoners (Early Release) (Scotland) Bill - Long-term prisoner population
Key points from this publication are that:
the long-term prisoner population remained fairly stable from 2009-10 to 2017-18 (an average daily population of between approximately 1,350 and 1,400)

The Consumer Scotland Act 2020 established Consumer Scotland as a statutory independent consumer body in June 2022.
The Regulations update the list of Scottish public authorities to be made subject to the Consumer Duty ("the Duty").
