The rights of children in police custody
In addition to the above, the Committee scrutinised the proposals in the Bill relating to the rights of children held in police custody (section 11).
Implications for Scotland of UK Government legislation relating to EU exit: The Committee considered relevant UK legislation, including the UK Environment Bill and the environmental implications of both the UK Agriculture Bill and the UK Fisheries Bill.
The Committee welcomes the injection of funds to help deal with the pandemic and begin to fund its recovery. This has been beneficial in the justice sector, but more is going to be required.
