Thank you for the letter of 4th November from the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee regarding my Culpable Homicide (Scotland) Bill.
I appreciate the Committee’s consideration of the legislation.
Executive Summary
The Period Products (Free Provision) (Scotland) Bill, a Member's Bill from Monica Lennon MSP, will place a duty on Scottish Ministers to ensure that period products are made available free of charge on a universal basis.
Crofting (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill: Stage 1 The next item of business is a debate on motion S4M-06798, in the name of Paul Wheelhouse, on the Crofting (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill.
I reiterate that it is not possible to compare Scotland with the rest of the UK. We needed the cladding bill to introduce some of the powers that were needed, and the bill was passed.
