Health and Social Care Workforce: Mental Health and wellbeing support
Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to inform you of my recent announcement of a £8 million package for health and social care workforce wellbeing. The news release is included at the following link: £8 million package for health and social care workforce wellbeing - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)
This will help fund a number of immediate recovery actions to help meet practical and emotional needs, alongside more specialised mental health support where this is needed, supplementing the many excellent resources that are already available within organisations.

No, I cannot, but we also have a good foundation of learning with regard to what that could look like. The flexible workforce development fund, for example, enables employers to have a more direct relationship with colleges and to draw down funding that will be quite responsive to their specific requirements, and our national transition training fund enabled colleges to respond very flexibly.
