Housing conditions and standards - Housing standards overview
A Common Housing Quality Standard Forum was set up in 2015 producing a series of topic papers around housing standards which are available online.
The Forum suggested that some elements of a common standard should apply to rented homes, but not necessarily to owner occupiers.
