To ask the Scottish Government on what date it was provided with the regional labour market statistics for January to March 2017, which were published on 12 July 2017.
The Contractor, Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors’, has now advised us that they are unable to achieve the planned early opening date of December 2016. I provided a full statement to Parliament on this matter on 8 June 2016.
First, regulations 3(a) and (b) refer to an inaccurate date of issue for the two statements of recommended practice for accounting and reporting by charities—the date of issue should be 16 July 2014.
I agree with the recommendation, but it is probably proper to put on record the fact that I am concerned that the legislative date that is required under European law is not being met.
