To ask the Scottish Executive how many live babies have been born in each deprivation quintile in each year since 2001, broken down by NHS board and also expressed as a percentage of all births in that area.
My house is called “Birchwood” because I live in a birch wood.It is inevitable that trees have to be managed and designating all trees would place a huge burden on the authorities, making it difficult to get anything cleared, even in the most innocent circumstances.
This is a proud and significant moment for young people of all ages from all over our country.Our sitting here in the Parliament also represents a huge opportunity for the decision makers of Scotland to be challenged, to debate and to involve our generation in some of the most difficult decisions facing our country in living memory.We know and we show the value of young people being involved in democracy and the huge impact that our generation can have in shaping futures and changing lives.
Iain Gray should realise that a First Minister commenting on a live case before sentencing would be in breach of a range of things, including parliamentary procedure, ministerial procedure and every other procedure.
Although Mike Ewart says in a letter dated 27 July 2009 that private sector partners should give "equal priority" to health and safety issues, that is clearly not the case in this instance.I contend that, as many of these issues are still live, there should be an independent review.
There are, of course, difficulties. We accept that we live in a time of economic turbulence, with cold winds blowing, but the site needs to be protected.
