We have a very powerful lobby that is selectively using evidence to stop a piece of legislation that is overwhelmingly supported by the public. I corresponded with you about one of my constituents who has a water charge of 61p on a council tax bill of £57.98. It would be impossible for an MSP to justify such a charge on any other form of taxation.
