As I believe Michael Russell made clear in his statement earlier this week, the suppliers of more than 8,000 medicines, not counting devices, have been asked by the UK Government to begin stockpiling six weeks’ worth of medicines.

To ask the Scottish Government what actions it is taking to improve the administration of medicines by NHS boards. The Scottish Government is committed to working with Health Boards to improve the administration of medicines by ensure that Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HEPMA) is implemented across Scotland.
