That is how it should be, but it must not satisfy us. The words of MSPs or of our motions will mean little if the dawn raids continue, if children continue to arrive at school to find their friends simply gone, or if the UK Government's policy does not change.

Glasgow is to host the special Olympics, which I will advertise this Saturday in Sauchiehall Street—I have agreed to busk there with some local councillors and MSPs, although God knows why. The idea is to highlight the importance of the special Olympics to Glasgow.

They contribute hugely to the tourism businesses that we have.Everyone in Scotland has a part to play in making our guests welcome: every restaurant and hotel worker, every shop assistant, every cab driver and, indeed, every MSP. Our visitors think that this is a great country to visit and they value the contact with local people.

You could be accused of operating a two-tier system in the case of individuals who must apply for adaptations in their own home. Every MSP has had similar questions posed to them about the issue.
