The issue of proposals for rural school closures was discussed at the Public Petitions Committee today. Many MSPs were in attendance to discuss it and many people from the various campaigns against school closures throughout the country held a rally outside the Parliament.

My answer to the question might not be helpful, but I will try to answer it anyway. An MSP's researcher recently met me to discuss the problems that trade unions would have if a separate Scottish civil service was created.
